How does Whiz Kid work?

Schedule a free 15 minute consultation to assess your wants/needs from tutoring/mentoring/guidance. We hope to be able to accommodate any needs our students have!

Whiz Kid tutors all subjects and offers test prep help as well!

What can I get help with?
What's the minimum time to work with a tutor?

30 minutes is the minimum time limit to work with a tutor! Whiz Kid offers private guidance sessions. However, if you need to cut a tutoring session short, Whiz Kid does charge an hourly rate that varies depending upon the service.

Any material you wish to re-visit just let your tutor know  before the session! Learning is about repetition, so don't feel discouraged asking for help!

Can I review my previous sessions?

Absolutely! We encourage working with the same tutor! Developing a professional relationship with your tutor helps learning new material easier, as well as more fun.

Can I work with the same tutor again?

Whiz Kid offers 1 on 1/group sessions via in-home tutoring or video calls! We give our best efforts to delivery quality service to students who want/need assistance.

What is the max capacity for group sessions? 

Group sessions have a maximum capacity of 5 students. Whiz Kid believes the attention of the tutor shouldn't be spread too thin! Having students within the same age and grade, makes it easier to grasp and retain information.

What are tutoring specific days?

There will be grade specific days through out the week for group sessions. For example; Mondays are K/1st, Tuesdays are 2nd/3rd, Wednesdays are 4th/5th, Thursday Middle School, Friday H.S./College.
